I'm sorry to see you vent - that's usually my job ;). Seriously, hearing you upset with the show was painful. I hope they gain you back, since you love them that much - and you were willing to give them more chances. I committed a rant at the time of S7 finale. As a testimony to my once-beloved show, I'll do a real post on why I am still that bothered. One day. When I calm down, if I ever happen to. And if it is still worth it, then.
Anyway, your short review is sharp, and incisive. You care.
Thank you for your comments. By this time, I guess you've vented it all on Twooter. I'm going to start rewatching S8 soon. Good to recall these remarks.

I think House wasn't particularly immoral, except in the blackmail scene at the beginning. Else, he just moved things a bit faster, but it was obvious the company was going anyway.
I did find this ep disturbing, but for a number of different reasons, the first of which was the sympathy for the rich (as you said) and the complete off-screen-ness of the workers, represented only as threatening violence.
As for Wilson, I hope this counts as an ep where he's not. Because otherwise I'll feel totally cheated, he was hardly visible. I thought he often looks in strange directions, but I might be wrong.
Tech thingies: there were some serious continuity issues in 8.2 as well, with the sandwich House gave Wilson jumping from one hand to the other. Seems like they're just being shoddy to me.
I don't like this show much, but I love the comments :).
