I volunteer to live on bread and butter

I'm making my first loaf of bread with my new bread maker. Of course, I went with the French-style recipe. I love French bread! Don't know if I've mentioned this before, but when I lived in Annecy, France--a good sized town, but not a city--I made it my goal to try a baguette from every bakery in the town. ;lasjflasd I think it's "bread and water," but maybe it's talking about the awesome sourdough-culture inspiring seawater?

Have great fun with your breadmaker! You can always freeze the other halves of some loaves for when you get busy at school.

Freezing, practical solution...ahh yes, I may have heard of those somewhere! Actually, I'm hoping that the bread will get better as I continue making it. Right now they're so dense that just looking at a slice will give you heartburn.. Cept the raisin bread, which though the raisins were wrong, the crumb itself was perfect...go figure. The rest aren't really worth saving except as duck food...maybe.
