Suitable phrases for a 'Congratulation on Birth of Daaghter' Card

I am slowly learning the odd word of Icelandic, in part due to my sister sending me over 'My First 1000 Words' style book

Til hamingju með dótturina (congratulations on your daughter)

or

Til hamingju með fæðingu dótturinnar (congratulations on the birth of your daughter)

I thought 'Til hamingju' might be congratulations...lots of their icelandic family/friends are posting similar on facebook :p

Thanks...the writing bit is easy, the pronunciation is my hard part! but I can probably get away with that until i see the little one :)
