The thing is...if I were to move to MI...I would resent my parents so much. I already am so mad at them for putting me in this position. I don't want to live on

I wish it were like a year later right now, then I'd most likely be able to room with you! I talked to mom about it...she doesn't think I'm financially independent enough to move out right now. She's all for it...just, when it's a better time. :(

No matter how crappy they say dorms are, there really is nothing in the world like dorm life. You will get to meet so many people and have way more fun than you think. Always being on campus in the middle of everything that is going on can be really awesome... I only live 1/2 block away from campus now and I already find it much quieter/lonelier than the dorms... it could be really awesome! You can always go and nest at the Catholic center... if you're determined to be a part of the community there, it could really add a whole lot to your college experience...

but that's just my two cents
