LOL it is called PT... they make you do physical training every morning...push ups a mile 1/2... good luck i think you have way more then enough determination to do it..
yeah i have a few friends in the Navy/ Army so i know all about it...i gotta get myself in shape like no other....too many years of just sitting around like a blob...

with that logic then you should be able to hit a mile in 7min 30 sec.
