I'm glad you found something that's interesting to you.
We have a casual office on Fridays (when the legislature's not in session) but I can't really wear my regular jeans either, since they are skinny, distressed, ripped up, splatter-painted, and otherwise inappropriate. =) But it's still nice to have a casual day, I hate work clothes!

Yeah - our jeans have to be rip-free and without excessive metallic embellishment, but otherwise anything goes. Casual apparently doesn't include shirts with low necklines, high midriffs, peekaboos or spagetti straps, though, so I have a few less options than I thought, heh.

My chest is one of the few features of my figure I am satisfied with. Cleavage has never been a problem for me before! *grins*

However, work standards permit me to wear boots anytime, as long as their not the combat variety. Which makes me very happy. I LOVE BOOTS.

I'm glad your first day went so well. I hope that you don't have any further issues with the sleeping. How rude to vacuum that late at night...

it's so ridiculous. She vacuums the whole house (which is about 1/3 the size of mine) about five times a week. I know because I hear it so often, and though when I wasn't working early mornings it wasn't such a problem, now it's really starting to annoy.

I saw their carpet being delivered a few years back. It's purple. Not lavender, or lilac, or any subtle colour, but plush, vibrant purple. It probably shows every speck of dust and lint, hence the need for vacuuming.

*throws up hands on the whole issue*

Sounds like a great start! Being able to dress casually is always nice, too.

About 80% of the building were in jeans and red shirts today, heh. Only the suits were spared.

Having casual day each week's going to be a real pleasure.

I'm glad you're off to agreat start. We're allowed to dress business casual, but when we can wear jeans I am ecstatic.

I love my jeans. I bought new ones this week and if they comprise one workday out of five, I think I shall go back and buy another pair.

Lots of fun so far!
