As a 37 year old gay man you are right most guys don’t really start to pull it together until 30. I started dating a really nice guy who just turned 30. He kept asking me what it like is to be in your 30’s. I told him honestly it’s been he best...I know I still enjoy going out and stuff but I just don’t get caught up in 3 D’s (Dick, Drugs & Drama) anymore. If you really think about it, most guys spend their earlier 20’s coming to terms with their sexuality. Then they set out exploring the gay lifestyles with all its ups and downs. The thing I noticed about most 20 something’s, they are too busy thinking something better will come along whether it’s a cuter boyfriend, relationships and so forth. I say this because I speak from painful experience of dating a few. Also most think love and happiness should come easy without any problems or effort…you know? It takes work, communication, understanding and lots of patience LOL. It’s not to say everyone is like this; I’m only speaking from personal experience. There are a lot of good guys
