That is to say, back in June my former publisher Cheyenne went out of business (and I suppose Bristlecone did too, though I received no formal notice of that.) Well, William has been with us for nearly 3 months, and has just about doubled his size. He and Pippin have a love-hate relationship -- they're either cleaning each other's ears or kicking the stuffing out of each other. But... no bloodshed, and more snoozing than scrapping

THE STATE GOP SNUCK AN AMENDMENT TO CLOSE ABORTION CLINICS IN THE STATE ONTO A BILL TONIGHT. IT WILL BE VOTED ON TOMORROW! IF PEOPLE WANT ABORTION TO BE AVAILABLE IN NORTH CAROLINA THEY NEED TO SHOW UP AT THE STATEHOUSE TOMORROW AND STOP THEM!

Didn't honestly expect to see DOMA trimmed... the whole Prop H8 game was just stupid; best part of that was the complainants being told they had no standing because they could not prove how letting same-sex couples marry injured them in any way. I guess dented self-righteous egotism doesn't count...This is what real Star Trek fans do...
