Five or six years ago, the late lamented Linden Bay Romance organized a co-op ad in Romance Times - the big frog in the romance review pond. Buying into an ad was supposed to garner a review, and the double advertising was a good deal at the cost even though it was nearly my entire first royalty payment ( Read more... )

Probably a bit off topic, I didn't even know there were reviewing sites for books, sorry, but wanted to tell you I was gifted Ransom by a friend, along with two other M/M books, the first and only I've read apart from fanfiction. The other two went in the bin, but Ransom remains my favourite M/M story of all time and it's getting a bit dog eared with rereading, I love the history angle of it as well. My friend raved about it online, I find myself doing the same, so rest assured you are getting reviewed, if in a more roundabout word of mouth way. Thank you very much for writing it.

I think in the long run word of mouth is one of the best ways to go - most of my own favorite books were recommended by friends.
