Title: I'll Never Trust Myself Again
Author: Nihilism
Involving: Billie Joe Armstrong/Tim Armstrong
Summary: Based on a Murder City Devils cover of a George Jones song, I Drink The Wine. Short as hell, cuz I couldn't flesh it out right. I can't write lately, what the fuck is this.
Disclaimer: I do not own, do not know, and have no rights to Billie ( Read more... )

Oh dear, okay.

Tim waved

For some reason that got to me. It just sent off this dismal feeling to me. They were obviously together and it wasn't a small thing - for one of them at least - and he just waved... Just fucking waved.

Oh and I liked it, as expected.

You know...I was totally detatched while writing this, or something, but now that you've pointed that out, it makes me wanna cry. TIM WAS CRYING. CAN YOU IMAGINE HOW SAD THAT IS?! I need the hugest unhappy face in the world right here.

...but thank you!

Tim waved, and Billie Joe slid the door closed. He didn't expect a kiss good-bye.

Aw, man =(

That was so... bittersweet, I think. I don't really know how to explain it, but it's so sad! =(

Brilliant, but very sad

It is really too sad. I'm appalled with myself. But thank you very much, regardless.

Ow, but in a good way. Intensely bittersweet with Billie leaving and the implication that he was doing so b/c he'd somehow managed to destroy their relationship, and how they both obviously still care but there's too much distance between them.

Very sad indeed, but in my opinion it's the sad ones that make the best stories because they're fucking real and they reflect how life is never perfectly peachy and we're extremely lucky if we actually get love or whatever the fuck you wanna call it. Happy stories can also be good but it's so rare because people make em out to be some fucking utopia and I despise that with a passion because it's just so far from being real...this is real and Tim crying is harsh because you'd never expect it from someone so rough around the edges I liked it.

Oh, I agree. Things can't be too sugary sweet because there's always got to be that more base, grittier edge to it. Sure, everyone has happiness in their lives, but it's never a 'and they lived happily ever after' situation, because even in those great, lifelong relationships, there's complication and problems you've got to get past. Thank you for seeing that here, and thanks for enjoying. :)

I think your comment was more eloquent than my drabble. >_> Show off. But thank you! You pick things apart wonderfully, no wonder you created the concrit community.

Ohhh, that fucking hurts. Raw opening, and it just went south from there (in an excellent/OW MY HEART way). I went and looked up the lyrics, too, and it just gives it even more impact. Tim crying, man. The wave and the crying. Damn.

You should get the song, the MCD version, it's really fabulous. I'm glad that 100 words apparently had some impact! I wish I could write more than that, though...eugh.
