Knitting fail: the moment when you realize that the reason why one of the mittens you've just finished is smaller than the other one is because you forgot to do a pattern repeat about halfway down said mitten.

I was feeling so triumphant and Finished Project and everything! Still, at least it's only a mitten, it won't actually take very long to redo. Also I have managed to rip it back to the right place without losing any stitches. Go me.

That's a pretty big accomplishment right there.

I made some booties and realized that the second one is ever so slightly smaller than the first because I forgot two rows. I say fuck it, close enough.

I spaced all my cables wrong on my first wrist warmer & didn't realise until I was most way through the second. So they don't quite match. This is my excuse to buy more possum yarn so I can make a match for both :-)

I'm impressed that you can do a mitten at all; I have not yet progressed beyond scarves, cat toys and the couple of bears I did.

It is time for me to pull out the yarn and needles again though -- I'll have to remind myself how to do everything, but that's OK.
