I actually don't remember writing that last entry. That should tell you something about my spring.

With a complete lack of information. Especially because I'm swamped with end-of-semester/end-of-grad-school work. But whatever. Someday I'll start writing again.

So, I haven't been here in ages, and everything is changed on the log-in screen, and my entire livejournal, or the management aspect of it, is functioning in Russian, and I'm not, and I can't figure out how to change it. Hmm. Or can I.

Yes. Fixed it. Thank goodness.

Nope. Still operating half in Russian.

I'm an aunt!

This post is several days late, of course, but oh well.

Yaaay!

Well, first weeks of (office) work are tiring, as is adjusting to a new city, but I like the job, and I should have AC soon, which will make a BIG difference, and I caught the fireworks on the East River from across the Hudson, and that was good. I like fireworks. I anticipate enjoying a shorter commute as well.

woohoo! I got a job!

So other people (in addition to myself) poke at cacti they keep in their room. Hmm.

It seems I am also not alone in my temptation to cut it open. Cross section of a cactus.

Probably, though, other people don't have weird dreams about their friends munching on their cacti.
