Broken Man

I knew it was going to hurt when the bike sailed into the concrete post, but I didn't think I would actually go over the handlebars like that. So when it was all done, I was lying on the concrete of the biking path with blood oozing from my knee, pain in my right thumb...and a dull ache in my left collarbone that was starting to get worse and worse ( Read more... )

Damn. No fun on the collarbone deal. Hurts like a dickens, doesn't it. I know, I only fractured mine 12 years ago, so I can only intensify that pain imagining it's broken. Ow man!!

It was a famil;iar trail; the post is part of a fence lining the canal. My attention drifted for a split second, just long enough for the bike to drift, and when I figured out what was about to happen it was too late.

I think I'll be okay. I'm more pissed off that I'll noty be able to do sports for a while, though. Thanks for the good wishes.
