While I concede that buying clothes made in sweatshops and electronics made by overworked underpaid Chinese does not allow me the luxury of chastising others who adorn themselves with luxury's made from the labor of injustice.
However, you cannot expect me to concede that there are not varying levels of injustice. Furthermore, you cannot expect me to give the same pity to workers who themselves seek jobs that while underpaid, were not forced upon them as I would pity women and children who hands and arms are chopped off by rebels as a show of force to the government.
With that said, as long as there is a demand for clothing and electronics, overworked and underpaid people in third world countries will at least have jobs. Unfortunately, as long as there is a demand for diamonds, there will still be wars over who controls the diamond mines, and there will still be innocent people who have no vested interest in the mining of diamonds losing there hands and arms.
