im sooo tired of sitting around and having these "critics" where all that happens is crappy artists tell other crappy artist how good their pieces are. fuck no.

I agree. I mean, from my perspective (my perspective being a person that doesn't consider himself an artist), when i look at art stuff, and something catches my eye- I like that. The visual stimulation, and vaguely understanding what the artist had in mind is really cool. like seeing a picture of a government official with Pinocchio's nose pained on is saying "i think this dude is a liar." -it's like they're communicating with you without having ever met you. Thats deep. but critique? really? thats pointless. If i see something i like- i say "wow... i like that."
by the time im done with that whole critique thing, i could have already finished my next project. instead i'm just bored and waiting for my turn to not talk/not listen.
