The one fic that you really think embodies you?
I would be interested to hear what the rest of y'all think for this one -- is there a particular story that you always associate with me? I don't know if any are that memorable enough, to be a 'signature' story, but you never know! The reason I chose this one is two-fold: it's two rare characters, thrown together to make a super rare pairing (shaken, not stirred), and it's heavy on the banter and dialogue. It was a pinch hit for the most recent rarepair_shorts Winter Exchange. I remember receiving the assignment, and promptly thinking, 'What the hell am I going to do with this?' However, I'm actually really, really pleased with this one. (Also, there be podfic!)
Also, it's set at a formal event. Y'all know I'm a sucker for those. >.>

A fic that changed your perception of a character?
Percy's back! I wrote this one a long time ago, and writing it helped me explore other facets of Percy's personality. Like how a pretty girl can make him do something he just absolutely, positively, will not do. This one is a teensy bit crack!fic, but it still makes me smile. And it's helped write a Percy who wasn't so stuffy.

Author’s Notes: This story is what would have been written for my rarepair_shorts winter exchange fic if I had been just a tad bit more zany at the time. I'm sure purelush is probably happy that this wasn't her gift. :D On that note, this is fiery_flamingo's belated birthday present! Happy late birthday, Sam! It's also a product of what happens when you watch this video on repeat. Anyway, enjoy the madness!

Most heartbreaking scene/story
Hrm. I'm not going to go with my initial choice for this one. There was a story I wrote a long time ago that for me is super sad. BUT. Looking back, I think it was all in my head. The story I've chosen for this one still resonates with me, even though it wasn't very well received -- I think the themes were not the greatest for samhain_smut. It might have been a little too dark and melancholy as opposed to haunting. Also, it has alternating POVs, which is usually a crapshoot. Anyhoo, I wrote this a few years ago for samhain_smut -- it was one of those stories where I had an idea immediately.

Most sappy scene/story?
No clue.
Kidding. Sorta. But I did have to dig back a while. When I say this is the sappiest story in my arsenal, just letting y'all know -- it's not that sappy. I'd categorize it more as simple and sweet. Fluffy. Further proving that I peaked between 2010-2012 (at least, in my opinion), this story was written as a gift for dexstarr for my 2010 Christmas Drabble Meme. I'd never written either of these characters before (that I can recall), so it was an interesting experiment. :)

Summary: Lucius had never cared for staring at the night sky, but if he could see that look on her face, he would make an exception.
Author’s Notes: This was written as part of my 2010 Christmas Drabble Meme. dexstarr gave me a few prompts, but I chose to write Lucius and Narcissa with the prompt, "school-age fluffiness."

Greatest example of penguins?
Kate, don't kill me, but I have to go with a different RPG pairing. *ducks rotten tomatoes* This pairing was the very first pairing I RP'd with another person -- and I'm still holding out hope that one day, baby_k21 will come back to me. *pines* She writes Ernie Macmillan, and I write Lisa Turpin, and they're just so damn fluffy. We started out writing them at si_muove_rpg, now we write them at pinksheep_wench -- and their offspring at pink_lambs! All of de fluff, we can has it.

The character of Kenna is a meme baby and belongs to mugglechump. Warnings for excessive fluff and Godfather references.

Special mention for this couple goes to Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, which is Ernie/Lisa as told from the POV of their eldest daughter.
