I slipped and fell in the hallway at work today. In my defense, there was something on the floor because I had slipped on it several times today. The final time, however, I went completely down in front of three other people. I was told that I went down gracefully, but still. It was definitely Monday today.
My Monday was going fairly well...for a Monday. This morning I had swim practice, so of course I showered and got ready for work in the locker room at the pool. I had brought a button-down blouse to wear and even remembered to bring a small safety pin to fasten between the buttons where the shirt gaps a bit. Ever get that feeling like something's getting ready to happen but you have no idea what?? I've gotten this sense that something is going to happen...something good. the valentine's day from hell
It's never a good thing to be stood up...it's worse when it's on Valentine's day. By someone who is supposed to be your good friend. The horrible part is that I wasn't feeling well the whole day and seriously considered cancelling. The wrist is feeling better. I'm not angry anymore either, which makes me happy. I don't like being pissed off, especially when it's over something I can't really control.
