This weekend was actually productive and a little fun! I learned the parasympathetic pathways in the head, so I just have to learn the sympathetic pathways, the pharynx and the ear and then hopefully I will pass my test on friday. Well, its friday night, but it doesn't feel like it because I am studying. I have my last anatomy test a week from today and I seriously cannot wait to be done. I liked anatomy, but studying all day everyday is NOT the reason I went into medicine, so I'm anxious for more patient aspects to start (not really till January I think). Here's an aricle from the Pioneer Press about a New Ulm family suing Planned Parenthood because their 17 year old daughter was allowed to get an abortion without their permission. I agree with PP, since she already had a child and was living on her own, and some state laws define this as an emancipated minor, but I think I'm kind of biased! ( Read more... )

This week is finally over. I don't know why it seemed so long, because we had tuesday off, but the head and neck section of anatomy is freaking hard.
