last night joe and i went to the mike doughty concert. it was really good, but he didn't play till about 1030, and i was ready to fall asleep before then. i decided to skip my 9am class, since my other class was at 11, so i got to sleep in and it was wonderful. i was dreading going home because i knew i would have to do dishes for like 3 hours ( Read more... ) -

To any of you who are scientists or scientists-to-be out there, you might as well give up now. In the last week, I have realized that no matter how much we devote our lives to finding the scientific truth, whether it be effectiveness of drugs or global warming, it doesn't matter because politics always trumps science. my head is going to explode
Well, I've finished the 1st season of Nip/Tuck, so now I have nothing to distract me from studying, which is a bad thing. I really liked that show, although it made me feel like no relationship or marriage would ever really work and be happy forever. I think Arrested Development season 2 comes out next tues, so I'll buy that and then be ( Read more... ) -

this week has been great- i haven't done any studying and i don't even feel that far behind. one of the best parts of medical school at UofM is that they record all of the lectures, so if you don't go to lectures (like in the am) you can watch them online. so i skipped class this morning and worked on my paper instead (that was due today). its ( Read more... ) -
HOOOORAY!
Well, after 8 weeks, I have learned the entire human body and managed to pass all 3 tests for anatomy! Now its friday and I can be super happy that class doesn't start until 9am for the next few weeks. Tonight I am going to my cousins b-day party with Kristi and then camping tomorrow!
