So, Los Angeles. I don't know why I don't feel like updating about L.A., I think maybe it's just that there's too much to say about the trip and I've already told all my 'good' stories to everyone. I feel the same way about New York, in both regards. I think it would you, too.

Other way around... who wants a hot, humid, sticky summer without nice beaches? Winter in NY is best. The only place winter sucks is Vancouver.

I don't think LA is that nice in the summer.. soooo hot... you're' right though, maybe we need a third place to spend the summer? Vancouver?

Usually when I see pictures of a place someone has traveled to that I've never visited, I can appreciate the photos but generally I end up thinking to myself, "I'd have to see it in person" - even if the photos are super well done. These photos, though, actually make me feel ... the heartbeat of the place. The photos show not only what it LOOKS like but how the air feels and the temperature of the sun and the pace at which everything moves. After you view them, at the end you miss it as if you were actually there and had to leave. So cool.

you went to j.tree and the salton sea? Wish you would've come down to SD too, but I can't wait to see your photos! I am jealous of the $4 cowboy boots, I saw some super beautiful ones when I was in j. tree and they were just a couple cm too small for my feet! sob.

Oh, I know. It's not like coming to SD was a half-day ordeal, and besides, I couldn't come visit you in LA, either! But maybe I can swing an LA night with you when you are down next time!!! OMG that would be amazing!!!!
