it's cute how much difference you think a politician amoungst politicians can make.

He's made a HUGE change! He sunk the US from the greatest surplus to the greatest deficit and started 2 wars that have scarred international repairs for decades to come...

He's certainly made a difference.
An enormous difference.

The question that begs to be answered is whether humans are capable of such a difference only towards the "bad" side of the spectrum, or whether we might also be able to make such a huge change for the better as well... ?

I think what differences I was looking for was politician to politician. bush/kerry, how many of the same mistakes? how many times can one go to war for oil? would it have been different?
sometimes it seem the difference is in the word play rather than the actions and what I (and thw world) am hoping for is that this change will be a real one. but the last time there was a president for real change, he was so overwhelmed by how badly things had been left by his predicesor that his sudden death was probably a blessing in disguise.
I'm just lacking faith. give Me some time.
