I tried to call my mother today... Except she's not there anymore. I never thought it would hurt me this much. I never realized how much I really talked to my mother either. I think I managed to talk to her at least three times a week. I feel so lost right now. I really put a lot of energy into that relationship and I am not really sure how to

hang in there, honey. i know it's hard and it takes a long time to get out of the habit of calling her and expecting her to be there. sometimes i still expect your uncle wes to be there for me to call. that's when i miss him the most, or when something wonderful or awful happens.

and it looks like you have a couple of friends who are there for you. sometimes tragedy really shows you who is important...and unfortunately who is not.
