OH JESUS

I am interrupting my usual self-indulgent narcissistic poetry fest because I desperately need advice.

I have been offered two jobs:

PROBLEMSTHE MAN: I could see working in such a formal environment being problematic for you, even if it does not show to co-workers. You seem happiest and most productive in environments which foster genuine human interaction, and I could envision you getting frustrated with the superficiality of sell, sell sell. I would say just be cautious of the ways of the big business world. At the same time however, if you can continue to have a strong social network outside of work, you could probably counter this. Also, money is good and a regular work schedule is nice and you look great in a suit, and your have job security ( ... )

This is a difficult decision. Oh my! I think that maybe I'd recommended the latter of the two, but only just barely. The biggest potential problem with Planned Parenthood that I see is that it will be emotionally draining, especially in a politically-charged placed like Olympia.

However, judging simply from what you wrote about working for THE MAN, it seems almost like you don't really want that job, but would be doing it simply for the job security and high cash yield.

So... yes. I think that you should do which one would make you happier, and I think that would be working for THE WOMAN, since from what you wrote, it seems like you'd have more fun there. Fun = Happy, right? Not to say that having a lot of money wouldn't make you happy, but ( ... )
