Heads up! In case anyone cares, is reading this, and hasn't heard already, I will be visiting the Great North West very soon! I will be in Olympia from about the 17th to about the 26th.
I am very excited to see my wonderful friends, visit the places I've missed, and also to get away from 114 degree weather.

I'm at my job in the museum in a room which normally has 3-6 other people in it, and I'm totally alone. I have been since I came in an hour and 40 minutes ago. I noticed a folder with my name on it which contained work to be done by no detailed instructions, so I've been puttering around with it and now spending time on the internet ever since ( Read more... )

In a somewhat related note, I dropped Chemistry for this semester.

I wore these cute new flats i got on sale at this used place recently, and after about a block walking my feet are now rubbed off. I am walking around barefoot or like a cripple. YIKES

I quit my phone job. My grandparents offered me a break on my rent if I'd quit one of my jobs, and although I will be taking a loss of 200-400 dollars a month, I took them up on it. So far I am ecstatic to have time to do things like make food and eat it and sleep and spend time with my family ( Read more... )

Yesterday I found a new place I like on campus, the engineering computer lab. The computers are all new and shiny and so far I've found a comp right away 2 for 2 of the times I've come here. Sweet.
