Gawd, I love these shoes! I want these shoes! These shoes cost more than my monthly vehicle payment! (And, these shoes are not even expensive by some standards

I have a hard-core shoe addiction, and I love Michael Kors. In fact, I love the delightful creations of many footwear designers, but, alas, cannot afford them without making ridiculous sacrifices. I think I love these Bettye Muller shoes so much because they are at once feminine and business-appropriate. They would look so beautiful with a suit, as the Manolo has suggested, and would still fit the conservative dress code of my insurance/banking work environment (which, among many things, does not permit open-toed shoes *cries*).
The icon, it is super fantastic, is it not? I was inspired to make several fun ones from the Manolo's pithy quotes, but need to redo this one to look better.
Epidermal tissue, sweeties, not dermal. However there is absolutely nothing wrong with lusting after AND purchasing shoes. You can never have too many. I am quite convinced it is genetic & am hoping we can include the question of shoe lust in our next big genotyping study so I can prove it!
Thank god for bioinformatician babes to clarify the finer points of our body's largest organ! =D (Is it truly considered an organ or is that just one of those kooky things people like to say?)
As to shoes, I am so all about the shoes and agree that one can't have too many. With such variety available and so many different life-situations for which to have appropriate footwear, how can we not have loads of shoes? If you ever find a way to get this into a genotyping study, I volunteer as a test subject!

Is it just me, or does the brocade pattern on those shoes resemble a cross-section of dermal tissue under a microscope?

This could either be really cool, or kind of creepy.
