The long, long journey is weighing heavily on me now.

I find it hard to imagine continuing like this. Every day is torture.

I feel the need to do some light journaling. And Facebook is not the place. Friends don't really pay a lot of attention there. Of course, they don't pay attention here, either. I just went down to get mail out of my mailbox.  I actually got very anxious about doing it. Goes to show that a shock of any kind really does affect behavior. 

Diagnosis: not fibromyalgia, but a non-specified autoimmune syndrome, inflammation of the connective tissues and muscles, possibly even rheumatoid arthritis.

I guess three months on FMS medicine was a waste of time.

Anyone want to buy some books on fibromyalgia?  *snort*

Ever had the experience of going into a meditation to see your inner monster face to face, and then gotten there and found it was a completely different monster than the one you thought was lurking? And that it was a sugar glider that led you to that place where it could be revealed?

You have? Pretty cool, wasn't it?

Finally got a diagnosis on something. One of my six (soon seven) doctors found that I flat line on cortisol throughout the day. This doesn't surprise me as I have felt all along that I have some level of adrenal failure. My diagosis of "fibromyalgia" has been put on hold. After more extensive testing, we've found a blood disorder. The symptoms are pretty darn close to what I have. Off to the hematologist on Tuesday to get it assessed. So, the current, popular word is "hemochromatosis."  If that's what it is, it's darn lucky this new doc tested me.
