I went in early April and while it was cold, it was still fantastic. I don't think there is a "bad" time for Paris. :)

Personally I would be one to head more into old Quebec...just think it is nicer and less bustle than Montreal. As for Paris, well Ive never been off this continent LOL so no clue.
Wherever you end up you better take some pics hehe

The only time I've been was July and it was broiling but still fantastic. So you drink lots of white wine to cool yourself off. Or you drink lots of coffee to warm yourself up. Or you just drink lots of red wine because you should.

July would be too hot, April too rainy. May will be in between -- if it's rainy it's at least warmer than April, but not so hot that places without air conditioning are torture. Besides, it's just the right time to go for us, financially and social-schedule-wise. :)

But the coffee and red wine will definitely be happening. You know me!
