Who would have guessed that frozen mango + microwave = fire? Pretty flashy fire! Probably shouldn't repeat the experiment....

I once lit my sweater on fire in the microwave by accident.

Why was your sweater in the microwave? *puzzled* Sweaters aren't food... Although I knew a couple of guys that used to microwave cds for art. They didn't use their own microwave. Microwaved cds are pretty.

Shredded raw carrot + microwave = fire, if you forget to add water.

Also a bagel in its bag, if you forget to take the metal twist-tie off! Also honey in its jar (no lid), if you fail to notice the gold shiny label -- metallic ink really is metallic!

I think that's all the microwave fires I've caused. None ruined the microwave, at least!
