Les Rallizes Denudes

Last week a brand new bootleg of probably my favorite band Les Rallizes Denudes (PRONOUNCED LAY RAH-YEE-ZAY DE-NOOD all Frenchsounding like) was released for the first time in a long time, on the Over Level label in France. This event prompted me to listen to all the stuff i have of them all week long.

It's pretty good, but couldn't help but be a bit underwhelmed by the first two tracks, sort of weird versions of "field of artificial flower" and "night of assassins". a couple of the ending tracks really fuckin blaze though. also, how are you dude?

well, I didn't sequence it or anything if that's what you meant. it was an official bootleg way back in the 1990's, I just burned it to a cd and decorated the cd and made my own nifty sleeve. and yah part of my problem with the new bootleg was that I caught myself comparing it to the 77 live boot, which of course is the peak of life on earth as we know it.

i's been doing pretty well. just workin and chillin for now, but going back to school in january to hopefully start finishing up. good to hear you're doing super. yes and hope to talk to you soon!

Funny. Being wary of the sound quality on a CD bootleg of a Les Rallizes Denudes album.

Good stuff. Thank god for Aquarius news letters, or I would have missed out on the new release.

Another thing that may be of interest. Someone should be providing me with a link to one of those 10 CDr box sets that he has. Says the quality is about the average.
