I managed to finish my claim for 20inspirations pretty easily considering I started it less than a week ago. I chose simplicity because it's something I have a lot of trouble with. Simply put (no pun intended) I don't know when to stop. I just keep adding stuff because I fear it'll look dull or to cover up bits and pieced that I dislike

Gorgeous, gorgeous set. UGH. I love light, simple icons (though I swear I can't do them to save my soul, so kudos to you!). 8 is my favorite, the colors, the composition, ALL OF IT. I adore the crops on 2 and 11, the silhouettes in 16 (wow!) and your blending in 15. It's blended and there's text, but it's still visually simple and very powerful.

Simple icons are HARD. With complex you just keep adding whatever you come up with and in the end they work out. But with simple you have to choose one technique or the other and that's harddd..

Glad you liked the crop on 2 and 11, my brother says I can't stop cutting people's heads and I think he might be right. But it's a crop tha ALWAYS works. XD

3: I love the blue and how it overwhelmes the icon but not the subject, I doubt that even makes sense lol it's just really great and "cool".
8: The split in here is really great and I love how each side has their own color!
10: Such. Pretty. Negative space. Guh!!!
14: I love the shape of this!!
19: I think my favorite of the batch. I love love love the blue against the grey, so so great!

8: Thank you! It's a complete rip off from emily_reich, but I've always liked it when she used that technique.

19: Isn't it a great match? Blue is one of my least favourite colours, but somehow it can make any icon look stunning.
