Katrina DID NOT hit Shreveport, and I'm fine. We got some wind, a little rain, and a lot of refugees, but no hurricane. Just thought I'd let everybody know--thanks all of you who've been asking. It makes me feel good to know that you were worried. :) New Orleans, however, is in bad shape, so please have the city and its people in your prayers.

Yeah, so we have Student Government elections for freshman senator real soon. We've been in school for a week and one day. Tell me that's not a popularity contest.
