Thank you so much for posting this, I have long been intrigued by Julie's art after discovering it via Neko Case.
I think I will definitely have to purchase 'My Mother She Killed Me, My Father He Ate Me: Forty New Fairy Tales'.

Also nice to see posting around here again, it is and has always been one of my favourite communities.

I loved her artwork for Neko, it's one of my favorite illustrated album covers!

I'm about halfway through My Mother She Killed Me, My Father He Ate Me and it's really fantastic. I'm finding out about so many great new authors!

Your tattoo sounds fantastic! The Fox Confessor... album cover was my first exposure to Julie's work, though I didn't know it at the time.
