So here I am, finally, to tell you how much you broke my heart with this fic ;__; Though, of course, with a prompt like that, I was just begging for my heart to be broken, wasn't I?

What I really love about this: how you weave everything together, Donghae's niece and newfound love interest and The Ring and his and Hyukjae's feelings for each other and Hyukjae musing about their situation. It never gets cheesy or contrived, it's all just there and you can't help but sympathise along with Hyukjae when he sees how sappily happy children makes Donghae and how he realizes that fatherhood is something that really can't be taken away from Donghae. And, of course, how he feels when Donghae rambles on about the T-ara lookalike girl ( ... )

I was wanting some HyukHae angst, anyway, and you gave me what I wanted! ♥

My prompts are easier to write because they're plotty prompts, lol ;) And if they're inspiring you to write canon, then so much the better :D I love your AUs but you've proven with this fic that you can do canon just as well.

The Ring is hard to spot sometimes. But he definitely didn't wear it during Sketchbook, which puzzles me. Maybe he thinks it's better not to flash it around for half an hour as opposed to three minutes of No Other?

oh my gosh kaija this is so beautiful jesus christ. the whole thing is so quiet and gliding along; and hyukjae pretty much broke my heart in this not going to lie, because with this pairing, i always see donghae as the one who moves away or someething and hyuk is the one left with his feelings...

the entire bit where eunhae are talking about marriage and donghae's gf killed me because it's just so raw and everything seems to be stretched so taunt...every word means so much and only if they had said something different, what could have happened...

you write het so beautifully kaija, that family scene at the end, whoa so sweet and realistic, although it really makes me wonder how they are going to be like with wives and children when there's so much history between them...

and lol this: Henry turning into a hamster and battling the Ryeowook bunny over the city of Tokyo-all a dream, thankfully

phew, i'm so relieved you think so i was worried it was a flop or something >_< lol i need to calm down. a lot of the time, i do see Donghae as the one who ends up being oblivious to Hyuk's feelings when it comes to this pairing-i might try switching it around sometime. experimenting, hehe.

that was my favorite part to write besides the 'epilogue' sort of thing at the end. guh, idk why these two seem so eager for angstfic to me these days. well. actually, i do, lol.

i almost want to do something off that last bit. i'm a sucker for futurefic, they're always so interesting. the what ifs are always fun to play with :)

this broke my heart and mended it in the same go, because it shows how eunhyuk loves donghae enough to let him go on with the dream of having beautiful children and becoming the best father in the world.

i love how you wrote angst in such a .... subtle manner. like you didn't dwell on how shit he was feeling, you described the circumstances and the general air around them and made us see the heartache from that.

also, i love that hyuk knows from the moment hae becomes an uncle that in a sense he's lost hae.

i was really left with a happy feeling after i read this. i really like your writing, it always seems like you're improving and bringing something new for me to read. this is my favorite fic that you've written so far, and it's not because you wrote one of my favorite pairings. or that you included t-ara, which was also really great. i really liked the way you wrote it. i loved reading every single sentence, because each one was constructed so wonderfully and different. i could also tell how much work you put into writing this, and it came out amazing.

i'm glad you write for kpop, dude.
