I figured out what the refrain from the Mumford and Sons song "Little Lion Man" reminds me of: "Sister Christian" by Night Ranger, from 1983. No kidding.

Took me two days to pull that bastard out of long term memory.

:-) well that explains it! And I was just happy to have that song pulled back up out of the depths of my brain. It has hence been moved to my iPod. (along with another few that you have gotten me turned back on to!)

I actually strongly suspect that there is some other song that sounds even more like the refrain from Little Lion Man, but I still can't quite pin it down.

My brain kicked up Sister Christian, and instead of continuing to drive myself crazy I opted to focus on other, significantly more important, things.
