And that's not a stupid question at all! The most easy and common way of crediting is this:
When you upload your new userpics, there's a box that says "Comment" underneath the one that says "Keywords". In the Comment box, you can type something like by mrs_spock or mrs_spock if you want it to show up as a link to my journal like mrs_spock.
I hope that makes sense. Give me a yell if it doesn't. ;~D
Hello there! I've taken #21 and a couple others of yours, with credit, of course! I must say, your icons rock, and are completely, totally awesome! I'm playing about in the HP universe right now, but deep down, I remain a Trekker! I'm so glad I found your work! BTW, your 'Running Fandom" icon just slays me! I can recall the first time I saw that ep ("Balance of Terror", right?) I thought the same thing! Thanks for the great icons!
Wow, thanks! I think everyone who's ever a Trek fan is always a Trek fan. *g*
And you're right! It certainly was Balance of Terror. It was meant to be a really serious part of the story, but I was absolutely howling with laughter. Poor Spock. Leonard Nimoy's a man with much inate grace - except when he runs, LOL.

Sometimes the man moves like an AT-AT walker from Star Wars... really.
Great job! About the "same height" one--I have that wedding photo picture on my desk at work. I can't seem to find an online copy, though, and I wanted to use it to illustrate Bonding for Dummies once it's out of the SBS quarantine. Can you send me the pic you used? Thanks! ^_^
And I of course mean innate. I absolutely lose at teh internetz tonight. Spock had a rather deliberate way of walking sometimes. It's quite... economical - and logical, I suppose. But the running is a hoot. His arms flop about like the legs of an octopus. Or something. Flailing is probably the closest term.
I don't remember where I got the pic from, but I sent it your way.
