Sometimes I watch Trek and then BL (or vice versa) and totally forget I'm watching the same actor - which is as much a testament to the guy's acting as the age factor, I think. I applaud any actor who creates two iconic characters. :-D

It's amazing, considering that his Kirk persona was often used as an example of over acting, how understated his DC character is.
Maybe it is an age thing, he just doesn't seem to be trying so hard when he delivers a line. Not that there aren't times when I see a "Kirk" move:)
