"It's just like LA!"

I took this picture of the smoke from the Lick Fire at the wharf a few hours ago. The smoke has since continued to build up, and the edge of it has drifted further northwest. The sunset is a lovely but strange color of yellow-orange right now.

Isn't Safeway supposed to be "inexpensive" or something? You know, compared to, say, the YuppieMart I normally shop at? I had a somewhat atypical shopping list this week, and was near the big Safeway, so went there...

I'm actually not that cold when i dive here in monterey bay, but I am going to be that much more Not Cold now. Or in 30 days or so, anyway.

Did a couple of dives today. Saw my first wolfeel. A juvenile, like the cute little guy in my userpic up there. Hopefully Brian got a photo!
