Not a big deal, but if someone infos their music tastes as this:
Music: Pretty much anything but hip hop and polka. Pretty eclectic. Duran Duran to Carl Orff.
The first part opens up to great ranges. The last part is pretty narrow. -

It's kind of weird how we say "Thank you" and it has a directive, even transitive sense: "[I] thank you," where the recipient is clear, as is the giver, but when we say "Thanks" it sounds like we are just leaving it there on the floor, they can pick it up if they want. -

Watching this 1954 Hitchcock thriller, hadn't realized I had seen it before. Highly regarded, but stagey to me, although it's always a treat to watch a very good director create and use an enclosed space and make it continually interesting.
