Hi. I had a very busy day today. I got to school at 7:00 this morning. I had to copy papers for three tests and work for 5th-6th math. I then had to prepare for the day. We had mass at 8:30. It has been so long since I have been on live journal. I have been so stressed on what to do about next year. The person that I am renting from sent us a really weird bill. She usually gives us a discount for paying early. But she didn't for 3 months because we didn't pay in full. We cannot pay in full unless she gives us a bill. She hasn't ( Read more... )

Well I finally did it. I sent a resume and cover letter to another school. There is an opening at a Catholic school in Minnesota. It is not far from Beth and Dave. About 26 miles. Cold in the house, cold in the bedroom, cold everywhere. Our bedroom was about 41 degrees this morning. That was with the space heater on since 6 last night. No school again. Again no school. Too cold and blowing snow. They haven't cleaned the back roads and many kids take the bus. Also too cold for them to wait for the bus at the stop. No school tomorrow. Got a call early. Good I can sleep in. We didn't have hot water all day. The pipes froze. They appear to be thawed tonight. We will have to leave the water running so that they don't freeze again. I hope everyone is warm.

It would be great if all of the days teaching would be like today. The kids while they were chatty were pretty good. Most of the time they were talking about science or other school stuff. Just relaxing on a Saturday evening. I finished talking to Kristyn. I am going to begin painting a new picture of a large bowl of apples. I took a picture of the apples at the Vertin gallery last year. I have a large canvas and I think that I would like to begin. Wow two entries in one day. We walked downtown and went to Pepper's Cafe. It is a great place for Chai and tea. They have great sandwiches and soup. It is a beautiful day to walk.
