Finally I have a day off. I worked 9 days in a row. The last 5 as janitor. It was interesting. Next year I don't want to work janitor. I am glad that I did, it gave me a new perspective on that type of work. The people that I worked with were great. They take their job seriously. They get a lot of complements. More cleaning. This time the computer room. So dusty. But this area is clean now. Tom will have to do more. I also put up a shade in the parlor area. I am going to work on my bedroom now. I have to have a clean space to sleep. Hope everyone is having a good day.

I am sitting in Kristyn's room waiting to have lunch with her. We had a great weekend with Beth and Dave. We saw the Twins baseball game on Saturday. The Twins didn't play well and they lost. I arrived in the UP on Monday. I have been trying to clean the house. It is overwhelming. So much stuff. Tom has begun working at the Fort already. Tomorrow I am heading to visit Beth, Dave and Kristyn. It is going to be a great weekend. Still no word on jobs. I might try and get a job in retail and sub when I am not working. Great news. I have been telling people that I am not coming back to St. Mary. Everyone that I have told has been very supportive. I know that I enjoy teaching but this is not the place for me. I got a call from one of the schools I sent applications to. It is a charter school in Marquette. Not Calumet but closer. I need to send in the application and questionaire. I am excited. I just need reasureance. This is a large leap of faith. Pray for my decision.
The day is beautiful also.

Life does take interesting turns. I will not be working at St. Mary next year. I don't want to be there and neither do they want me. Or at least the principal. Back in Big Rapids. Pat and I walked the March of Dimes walkathon today. We walked 8 miles in about 2 1/2 hours. It was great fun. I am a little sore right now.
