I am on my first day post-project, and not having anything to do immediately is a little weird. I mean, I'm sure I can rise to the occasion and not actually do anything, but its still a little weird. I will however enjoy it, as I know it wont last

I am also sitting around at work currently without anything to do. Happens quite a lot, actually, but I'd rather be busy (and earning my pay) than bored.

Karaoke is fun. Or at least it was when I last tried it some 10 years ago while very drunk...

The thing to remember about karaoke - blokey blokes who get just drunk enough to agree to do it, but not enough to do something really daft like "Barbie Girl", tend to pick Meatloaf's "Bat Out of Hell."

Yes, it's a blokey kind of song, but it has a major drawback. It has a five minute instrumental introduction during which said blokey bloke gets to stand there slowly deflating into a red puddle...

Actaully the worst Meatloaf song for karaoke in my opinon would have to be "Paradice by the Dashboard Light". It's usually done by a drunken couple who can't sing and it goes FOREVER!!!

One of the old DJ's at Charlton's actually banned it.
