Got my historiographical essay back today, for which I was given a satisfying 85%. I'll need at least 70% on the major essay (which I'm currently writing) to get a credit even if I flunk the exam, but that shouldn't be too hard.

I've got a fair bit (by undergrad standards) to do over the next few weeks. For my history course I have a 3,500-word essay on Eugenics and The Holocaust due in just over a week, and an 800-word tutorial presentation on war crimes and international law to be given next Tuesday ( Read more... ) -
A pleasant trip indeed!
I never realised that the Fleurieu Peninsula - which is a mere hour's drive from my home - is such a beautiful part of the world. MY BRAIN HURTS!
I have a philosophy essay due in 2 hours which is only 1/3 complete. The more I read on the essay's topic (comparing induction to "inference to the best explanation") the more confused I get. Hangin's too good for 'em!
When I bought my clapped-out old Alfa Romeo some 8 years ago, one of its faults was that there was no key for the petrol cap, meaning I have never been able to lock it.
( There's a reason petrol caps have locks ) -
Back to the grindstone
Back to uni today for second semester and my first lecture for "Reality and Knowledge: Metaphysics and Epistemology". I'm not really in study mode at present, what with other stuff going on in my life right now (all pleasant, I hasten to add), but I'm sure I'll adjust back into the uni routine quickly enough.
