I have a philosophy essay due in 2 hours which is only 1/3 complete. The more I read on the essay's topic (comparing induction to "inference to the best explanation") the more confused I get. Ah yes, it's a difficult subject. Basically Wittgenstein postulated a tangerine sheep capable of simultaneous oscillation and reticulation, while the Clag deposits in the Prescelly Mountains continued to go gibbet! gibbet! My mother is a left-handed sodium lamp! He took his tablets and all was well.

I recommend gin.

No, still working on it. I made the mistake of looking at a whole bunch of online journal articles on the subject which suggest that some of the basic concepts (which I think we are simply supposed to take for granted) are quite complex and actually highly contentious. Thus I got both bogged-down and sidetracked...

I just need to step back and re-focus, and then it will practically write itself! :)
