Why didn't anyone tell me this?
It looks like I've been doing this whole "study at university" thing all wrong. This is what I should have been doing all along!
It's a bit late now, but it may be possible to redeem myself; anyone know where I can buy a badger? -
At last - my semester 1 results
The Linguistics Department (or whatever they're now called) finally posted the results of my linguistics course which had been delayed for some reason.
So, here's the full list:
Principles of Microeconomics I 61 Pa tad disappointing, but I'll cope. :)
Logic II: Intermediate Logic 92 HDpretty much what I expected.

Relieved but disappointed
I've been eagerly awaiting the official posting of my uni results for the past semester. I just checked (for the fourth time today) and my results for the 'Principles of Microeconomics I' course are in: 61%. I'm happy I passed, but I would have preferred a credit ( Read more... ) -
It's mine, all MINE!
Finally won an auction on eBay - an Asus motherboard to replace the one (in my father's old computer) that I ruined with an incorrect BIOS upgrade. I was outbid on the first one I tried to buy with under a minute left on the clock, which pissed me off at the time but didn't stop me using the same trick to make sure I won this time. :) -
What a relief!
The Logic 2 exam I did yesterday has been marked already. The lecturer realised that she made it "a bit too hard" (her words) so she juggled the scoring to compensate. The result is that I got 90%, much better than I expected (and the 4th highest score). For the essay, which has also been marked, I got 88% (the highest score) so it looks like I ( Read more... ) -
Well, that sucked...
The exam for Logic II turned out to be nastier than I had anticipated, and I don't think I did well at all - in fact, I'll be pleased if I get above 65% for it. Not only were the questions hard, the 2 hours alloted was not sufficient time for me to answer every question. Hopefully my essay was good enough to balance it out but I am no longer ( Read more... ) -

Ancient Greek exam is done. It was pretty much as I expected, and even though we were given three hours to do it in, I got through it in one (but I wasn't the first to finish).
And now for something completely different: ( a man with three.. no, sorry... ethics and food. ) -
My head asplode
Microeconomics exam is done, thank goodness - and I think I did OK (but certainly not great). Too much cramming and too little sleep means I am now almost incapable of rational thought or the ability to type correctly - almost every word in this had to be corrected for typos.
