I do not believe that tragedies come in threes, like many superstitions seem to allege.  But I thought I'd post three eventful (and entirely different) tragedies in recent times for me.  And I believe in writing this stuff down simply to remember details and whatnot.

I've seen him before.

When I used to take the 410 from 22nd Street Station, he'd get on the bus somewhere in the Queensborough area, and get off in Richmond before me. He stood out.  My first time was back when I was 12.  I had fractured and dislocated my right index finger playing Doctor Dodgeball in gym class.  The doctor at the hospital had to relocate the fractured bone, but because of the immense pain I was in, decided to use Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) on me ( Read more... )
