I finished my first academic quarter in grad school yesterday! Without a mental breakdown! Woot!

Haha, but in all seriousness, the first years are always warned about the first quarter and I made it. It is such a great feeling. I think I did well in all of my classes too. Holler.

Bill Hall, the VP for Student Affairs here at OSU (and an inspiration to all of us) passed away today. Although I didn't have the chance to meet him personally, he was such a role model for the students and the student affairs staff.

I don't know if I can take much more of this.

And I can't go to Oklahoma for my uncle's service.

my uncle, and godfather, passed away today.

I think the services are gonna be this upcoming weekend in Oklahoma. I don't know if I will be able to go.

My weekend back "home" in Richmond was fabulous. I can't even put it into words.
