Delaware Furbowl 25

I'm way behind on many LJ entries I would have liked to make, but here's some recent news from my furry endeavors.  I suppose the "cat" is out of the bag now... I'm finally getting a fursuit, and I have the head already, made by Snap at ByCats4Cats.com, who has done a fantastic job!

Yes, she was very cute... so glad to have gotten the chance to meet her in person.

Nice journal - being that I run a similar bowling meet of my own up in the greater Seattle area it's good to hear about how Furbowl is run. Glad you had a fun time, and yes, being able to communicate only through gestures and nonverbals is part of the fun! You'll get used to it after a few outings. But I'm one of the suiters that will never talk in suit (to non-furries) as I think it breaks character.

Great to hear from you, and thank you for the comment and encouragement! Yes, it was actually very awkward for me, so I hope things go better for me next time, which will probably be AC11. I also wish to be a suiter that does not speak... I agree, I think the character comes across much better that way.

I watched your latest Furballs Strike videos from a month ago. As for the Delaware Furbowl format, I believe it is run in a similar manner as your meets. I saw you have a registration table and a staff of a few people helping out, same here with this one. I didn't get to April's meet, but here is Kitt3ns' report on this latest one with some details that might be helpful for you to read:
