Went to the Quest for Immortality exhibit at the National History Museum today. Took pictures, but unfortunately not of the tags beside the artefacts so I don't know who is who - be prepared for some vague captions.

I love that Sekhmet statue. I want to get to the AGO soon so I can see the King Tut exhibit again before it leaves.

I shit you not - was standing beside some fuckhead who said it was "demonic". My friend (both of us familiar with Ancient Egypt) piped up "She isn't called the Ogress of Karnak for nothing!"
