I Had a great time a Fat Freddy's, got to know new people and got better acquanted with a some existing friends. So, I went to see Fat Freddy's Drop, first time to a gig in a while realy. It was good letting lose on the floor, but it was a wierd mix of a croud being a CH City Cental event. Just Returned from a trip up North. The meeting with the principle of Motueka High went well. Nothing's certain, but certainties were not expected. I think I earned some points when we where discussing a Blue Duck reintroduction and I pulled out the currectly prononced Maori name "WheWhe". I hate to admit, but when I'm sitting sipping my mourning coffee I often browse through the selection of articles that comes up on yahoo news. I came across this statement made by McCains VP choice, "The first-term Alaska governor told reporters she was having fun in her new role. "It's great to see another part of the country". So, I am starting to gain hope of keeping my sanity intact over the next month. Atleast I'll keep my fingurs crossed. I am starting to teach a section on reproduction to a bunch of 13 year olds next week.
