Your game board, and the plank table on which it's set, make for a wonderfully medieval look. Any way you could reflect that in the fonts? They are so modern!

My personal preference is to have the toolbar rather surreptitious--can it fold away during game play at the bottom, allowing the game board to fill the screen?

Actually, on a PocketPC it's a necessity. The screen is only 240x320 pixels; you can't leave a full-size menu on there and still have any room left to play the game.

So, I'd either need to redesign the menu again (which is not a bad idea), or find a way to make it pop in/out when needed (which is also not a bad idea). I'll try some different visual styles too, to try to get a theme going.
